Test method on glass flacon decorative elements - Resistance to immersion in water
Scope of application
The aim is to assess the resistance of the decorative elements or lacquering of a glass flacon to periods of immersion in water.
The principle involves immersing the tested component in water for 6 hours at ambient temperature and then performing an adherence test.
This test applies to all types of lacquered (sprayed, metallised) and decorated (screen-printed, hot-stamped or pad-printed) items.
