Cetie is a widely recognized, membership-based international and inter-professional organization comprising industry experts from across the entire value chain. Our mission is to produce technical reference documentation aimed at achieving high-quality standards in the bottling industry. These standards and best practice guides are meticulously tailored to cover the bottling of food liquids, beverages, perfumes, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products.
Our documents are freely accessible to all types of users, ranging from students to jurists, and to stakeholders involved in packaging for bottling, globally.
The decision to offer our documents free of charge is made by the
Cetie Board of Administrators:
As a non-profit entity, Cetie operates without receiving any state
subsidies; memberships constitute our sole source of revenue.
While our approach may be characterized as 'altruistic,' it perfectly
aligns with the traditional economic interests of the industry.
The collaborative efforts and contributions from our members,
who are eager to share their knowledge and technical expertise,
empower us to significantly mitigate development risks and associated
costs by establishing mutually approved standards and best practices.
Furthermore, this collaborative approach accelerates developments that
are often impeded by siloed organizational structures within companies.
Ultimately, the Cetie network enhances the agility of its members.
About 20000 document dowloads each year in 100 countries.
Cetie brings together approximately 120 members, comprising individual companies, groups, or federations, who are industry leaders in glass and PET packaging, as well as in sectors encompassing food and beverages (including wines, champagnes, beers, mineral waters, and soft drinks), perfumes, cosmetics (including body care products), pharmaceuticals, and household goods.
The association is overseen by its Board of Directors, which consists of 16 members:
