PET finish 32/27-14.9-2/2,7
Scope of application
This document provides specifications and dimensions of the 32 mm screw finish with two (2) thread starts for still waters and non-carbonated beverages. This finish can be used for aseptic filling and filling with introduction of nitrogen (the internal pressure should not exceed 1 bar). This finish is designed to take a tamper evident plastic closure only.

Revision III: 03/2026 — Decision at PET meeting 16/06/2025 to have, in all GMEs, an identical sentence for general tolerances: ” General tolerance for radii is ± 0,13 mm unless otherwise specified”. Documents DT23.03 & FS18.00 have been added in the § Related documents. A note for the radius under the support ledge has been added. Drawing has been updated without index marks.

This joint group is in charge of all GME data sheets ("Finish data sheets"), dedicated to the geometry of PET neck finishes and their related documents. These data sheets are related to finishes dedicated to the beverage industry (such as soft drinks, mineral water & wine), packaged in an aseptic environment and/or with nitrogen injection, and to the food industry (e.g. edible oils, vinegars, and sauces) and allowing to receive mainly plastic caps.
