Reuse of Glass containers - Recommendations for labels, closing systems, and crates
Scope of application
After the washing step, the label and the glue should be completely removed from the container. This document presents the recommendations to achieve it in good conditions. Sleeves are not considered in this document. Complete sleeves are not glued onto the bottle, they would need special devices to be automatically removed. The consumer would not remove all sleeves before disposal. The coding marked by the filler on the bottle must be washable if not made on the label.
