PET finish 26/21-8.5 for edible oil
Scope of application
This document provides specifications and dimensions of the 26 mm finish designed for a snap-on plastic closure for non-carbonated products like edible oils, vinegar and sauces, cold filled (e.g. ambient temperature) with or without introduction of nitrogen (the internal pressure should not exceed 1 bar).
This finish is designed to take a tamper-evident plastic closure only.

This joint group is in charge of all GME data sheets ("Finish data sheets"), dedicated to the geometry of PET neck finishes and their related documents. These data sheets are related to finishes dedicated to the beverage industry (such as soft drinks, mineral water & wine), packaged in an aseptic environment and/or with nitrogen injection, and to the food industry (e.g. edible oils, vinegars, and sauces) and allowing to receive mainly plastic caps.
