Gérard Cova Appointed as New Secretary-General of Cetie

Cetie, the International Technical Center for Glass and PET Packaging, proudly announces the appointment of Gérard Cova as its new Secretary-General. Gérard Cova, a seasoned expert with more than three decades of dedication to the packaging industry, brings a wealth of experience and deep knowledge to his new role.
He succeeds Josquin Peyceré, who has managed the Association since 2019. The transition is proceeding smoothly during the next few months, ensuring continuity of ongoing initiatives and projects.
Gérard worked during 10 years at L’Oréal in Production and in Quality departments, then 4 years at PECHINEY Cork & Seal of California,
Gérard joined SAVERGLASS, where he dedicated over 22 years to the company in various roles. His experiences included Quality, Technical and Customer Service Management. As Saverglass Global Quality Expert and Technical Reference, Gérard played a central role in improving the company’s standards and practices.
During this last experience, Gerard has had a long-standing involvement as an expert in various Cetie working groups.
Gérard will officially take over on 22/07/2024, succeeding Josquin Peyceré, whose mandate was marked by significant advances for Cetie. Gérard's appointment testifies to Cetie's commitment to driving and shaping the Association's future.
