PET finish 38/33-16,5-3/3
Scope of application
This document provides specifications and dimensions of the 38 mm screw finish with three (3) thread starts and a 16,50 mm height for still waters and non-carbonated beverages.
This finish can be used for aseptic filling and filling with introduction of nitrogen (1 bar max).
This finish is designed for non-returnable bottles and to take a tamper-evident plastic closure only.

This joint group is in charge of all GME data sheets ("Finish data sheets"), dedicated to the geometry of PET neck finishes and their related documents. These data sheets are related to finishes dedicated to the beverage industry (such as soft drinks, mineral water & wine), packaged in an aseptic environment and/or with nitrogen injection, and to the food industry (e.g. edible oils, vinegars, and sauces) and allowing to receive mainly plastic caps.
